Wish the last of our "seasonal visitors" were gone for the year. Had over 16,500 of them yesterday! Busiest day of the year. A little over two weeks to go. Somehow, I'll make it.
Just doing what I want now.

I avoid downtown like the plague in summer. Of course the buses full of "visitors" seem to be everywhere. The worst for me is the whale watchers. There must be at least a dozen companies, most with several boats, some huge, carrying well over 100 passengers at a load. You can't get away from them. These boats zoom all over the local waters chasing the whales, and a guy can hardly hope to drop an anchor without getting knocked off with a wake. I try to go farther, but just can't compete with twin 800 hp. jet drives, and tourists buying all the fuel.
Just doing what I want now.

At what point does a 4 stroke get too big to pull start? My understanding is the reason the they don't have them on 4 stroke snow machines is that you can't get it turned over to start unless you had a kick start.
-TJ You need 12 volts for the fuel injection system to pressurize itself before it cranks over, no 12 volt no fuel no use having a pull start.

My son spent some time on the Yukon the last year or so and has said seal hunting is one of the most exciting things he has ever done. He was showing me his spear thrower last night
