Hello all. So this winter I trapped my first beaver & butchered it. That carcass attracted more fisher, fox & coyotes than I ever would’ve imagined to my trail cam. I wanted to do some testing on making my own bait. My plan was to let the beaver putrify for 3 days then mix it with some ground catfish, eel & trout. I would not let the fish petrify as I imagine that can become more of a detractor than attractant at a certain point. I also planned on doing a 70 (beaver)/30 (fish) mix for canines and fisher. Any input would be great.

I was talking to someone this weekend and was surprised to hear that the AI centers use a closed loop cooling system of DI water. That means they recirculate DI water for cooling. The way you hear them talk about water usage you'd think a river has to run through there. Seems to be more to the story and possibly a couple different ways of doing it. Anyway I didn't know that and thought I'd share. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/06/full-24446-294276-ai.png)
