Basted Grilled Doves ~ 6 - 8 doves, split down the back and flattened ~ 1/4 cup olive oil ~ 2 cloves garlic, minced ~ 1 tsp dried rosemary ~ salt and pepper
Mix the olive oil, garlic and rosemary together. Salt and pepper to taste. Brush the oil mixture over both sides of the doves. Grill over medium heat. Baste often with the oil mixture. Grill bone side for 10 minutes. Turn over and cook for another 8 - 10 minutes.

Cut breasts up into strips 1/4 inch thich. Saute with butter, onions and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and stuff into pita bread. Works great with pigeon also.
