I use a lot of 1/8 inch cables for beaver and getting ready to make sone new ones. What’s the best way to do one end so it’ll cinch down tight in a cut clog or drag? The larger cable doesn’t tighten down on itself as well. Figuring in using the cables on cats and coyotes too.

Thread one end through a double ferrule then back through making a loop. Crimp a stop on the end now you have an adjustable loop. If you use YouTube 330 Maniac has a video somewhere he uses them on all his 330’s.

I do it like this Steve, I also use it on the end of drowners chains to cinch down on weight bags

Using a snare lock makes it easier to close down tightly and also easier to back it up to take it off the object.

I've thought several times about trying a cam-lock

I have a few 1/8 cam locks. I’ll try that on the first one.
