Thread one end through a double ferrule then back through making a loop. Crimp a stop on the end now you have an adjustable loop. If you use YouTube 330 Maniac has a video somewhere he uses them on all his 330’s.

Using a snare lock makes it easier to close down tightly and also easier to back it up to take it off the object. I've thought several times about trying a cam-lock
