Everyone benefits from a basic economics class. Demand rises and, unless supply increases, prices will rise. It is a lot easier, and more fun, to just complain about than to actually understand what is happening.

It's not just summer demand. There is quite a bit of unrest on the other side of the pond which some of you have hears about. I know they haven't slowed down on drilling in ND. New pad 1/2 mile to the southeast. Fracking new wells a mile to the west. $5.00 a gallon would be a great price in Nome.

Be happy you don't live on the left coast. Around here it's about as close to $5 a gallon as you can get, at most gas stations. The Indian reservation stations are selling it for about 50 cent cheaper. The only good news is that diesel is now about 20 cents cheaper than gas.

Same story different day. Let other countries produce what we consume no worries about emissions, even though its all the same atmosphere. Make the woke people. (who are really asleep and dreaming) all happy.
