Was post frontal today. Tougher than usual, but still a good day.

I find crappie are a mid day bite , and slow in the evening

Perch are very pretty I think!

Them are some beauties

My oldest son and I fished yesterday. He took the 6 lb largemouth of an ultralight Cashion rod and 4lb test.

If I get some good sizes Perch,,I will scale a few,,,then also fillet them,,but leave the scaled skin on the fillets.Great flavor with the skin on.

Nice!

Ultralight has been my favorite method for almost everything lately. Got a 29" walleye last fall on it, and a 25" walleye today!
