I'm jealous!! Went out the other evening and had bites just couldn't get one hooked. Nice catch!!

I'm jealous!! Went out the other evening and had bites just couldn't get one hooked. Nice catch!! Was post frontal today. Tougher than usual, but still a good day. I find crappie are a mid day bite , and slow in the evening

thats some good eats love a scaled and fried crappierhe skin is the best part
The only place you find free cheese is in a mousetrap !

Way to go Hutchy. Them are some beauties My oldest son and I fished yesterday. He took the 6 lb largemouth of an ultralight Cashion rod and 4lb test. The male crappie are just starting to hit the banks here in MO.

If I get some good sizes Perch,,I will scale a few,,,then also fillet them,,but leave the scaled skin on the fillets.Great flavor with the skin on.

The male crappie are just starting to hit the banks here in MO. Nice! Ultralight has been my favorite method for almost everything lately. Got a 29" walleye last fall on it, and a 25" walleye today!
