What I'm getting at is why let other peaple opinions offend you.
If you don't agree with some ones opinion you can either choose to edify by creating a dialect.
Sometimes in a social media platform peaple are miss read and a conversation goes of the rails.
We can also choose to not be involved in a subject. Such as sports, I have little interes in professional sports.
So I don't become involved in those conversations.
I understand the world wants to cram there agendas down other peaples throats.
The Jim Jones coolaid drinkers made the choose to drink.

As far as the statement cramming down my throat it’s eye opening to notice Jesus never crammed anything down anyone’s throat. After teachings he would say let he who has ears to hear hear. His final words before ascending into heaven was tell them the good news so that’s what loyal followers do. The word gospel means good news and good news it is. So simple a little child can understand it as Jesus said unless you come like a little child you cannot be saved. Little children trust as seen in a child jumping off a roof into their fathers arms. The good news ,Jesus paid our sin debt by shedding his blood on the cross to appease Gods wrath against sin for all those who put their trust in Jesus and his sacrifice. Let those who have ears to hear hear. The bad news is that all who reject this good news will be judged for their sin but that’s their choice. I tell the good news to whoever will listen but never cram anything down anyone’s throat. Every day I get totally amazed at Gods creation that all people enjoy. As the Bible says No man has any excuse for God has revealed himself through his creation as stated in Romans chapter one. No reason to get mad about this message if you don’t believe it but there is far more to negative reactions to the gospel than most could imagine.

Well,we all need to police ourself not others. God will be the judge. It took me 20 plus yrs on to learn to ignore the people who try to ruin and derail post. Those I dont want to hear I just put on ignore and theres a few.

US church attendace across all denominations has dropped by over 20% in just the last four years.

I'm not distressed by this. I'm guessing that the majority of those dropping out are cultural "christians". I think it's probably better that they not attend at all, rather than deceiving themselves. There's a better chance that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and draw them to God if they aren't sitting in a church thinking that attendance alone will do them good.

It's giving 20% of your income that really saves you. Ask Joel Osteen.

I agree, there's a lot of hirelings In the prosperity gospel.
There will always be false prophets seeking there own glory
until Christ returns and the final throne judgment.
Fortunately I've seen peaple leave a church with a God fearing pastor that were struggling with themselves but blaming it on there disagreement with the truth.
Then after much prayer God moved in there lives and they returned and became pillers in the community.
It seems the more technology we get the more knowledge peaple have at there fingertips.
Knowledge can be a good thing bit is also can be bad.
Just like the tree of knowledge.
Probably the reason God confounded the languages in Babylon.
The world wide web is sort of a Babylon, withe much knowledge at our fingertips.
Who knows some day God may confound the languages again.

Then he said , if you have not come to the point in your life where you are truly remorseful for your sinfulness you have no right to call yourself a Christian. A very true statement.

I'd take that a bit further. We commit sin but sin is what we are. I don't believe the Lord saves anyone before first showing them how utterly helpless and corrupt they are.

I would guess that most following the prosperity preaching are babes at best in the word.
Following a man's doctrine rather than sound biblical teaching without the teaching of the Holy Spirit.

Church attendance is down from all denominations. The biggest problem I have with some churches is that becoming a member/money is there main thing they seem to demand.

If I have to be a member to take part in services in God House, then they really aren't really doing God's work. I never have understood why a person has to become a member to be a Christian or be treated as an equal to the members that are members.

Without membership you have no control over anything Anyone can come in and vote and soon you are in ruin. I understand what you’re saying and in any good church you don’t have to be a member to attend or be accepted. But you can’t have a vote in meetings and for good reason as all you would have to do to take over and ruin a church is get enough like minded people to come and you could take over. With wise leadership that would be very hard to do as you would be found out. Kind of like an anti trapper here not being able to pull the wool over moderators eyes

When I find a post I don't agree with or am not interested in, I don't open it.

I think of something being crammed down someone's throat when it's called a hate crime if you don't agree with a certain lifestyle.
