What is your preferred fastening method for beaver and otter BG traps, chain, cable, or wire? Or a combination?Quick link, spring snap,or cable loop?

Partner and I lost a dozen 330's to Johnny sneakums using bright shinny clips. The easier to unhook the easier they walk off.

10 feet of 3/32 7x7 cable .. loupe on one end...swivel clasp on the other
I only use them for 2 seasons...then make new ones

Same as Claycreech. My second swivel is a barrel swivel about 18" from the trap. Attach cable to tree limb or whatever with quick snap. All my equipment is dipped so not shiny.
