This whole post has me very confused.

I certainly never saw anyone on here being..... "untoward" towards elsmasho unless you're all considering the banter between her and 160user which seemed mutual and friendly, not inappropriate in any way.

I don't recall anything that made me think she was an anti.

I do recall you, elsmasho, getting upset about the politics thing which I didn't really understand. You mentioned double standards but I never saw it that way. Dispatch talk is prohibited because it can and does cause trappers to get black eyes in the media and more importantly in legislative hearings where the future of trapping is on the line. Talking politics, while also against the rules, doesn't stand to cause people to lose their rights to trap. It's much like posted regulations on the highways.

If the speed limit is 70 mph and you're driving 75 mph, there's probably a 95% chance that a cop that passes you isn't going to pull you over. Sure, you're breaking the rules, but it's not THAT big a deal, the extra 5 mph probably won't get anyone killed. But if you're driving 105 mph you likely will get pulled over because that speed COULD cause harm. That's the reason some rules are enforced here more strictly than others.

But, in case you missed it, political posts are no longer allowed at all so you should be good now.

There was never any warning about speaking about dispatch. None whatsoever . I had to learn this the hard way. Like I was some kinda monster

You might be over reacting a bit. A lot of us have had post or thread removed a time or 2. Some of us are monsters but it has nothing to do with get a thread deleted

Only your first few post gave the impression of an anti. You used terms they do and mixed up trap terms to make traps that didn't exist. Guys jumped on that. Within a few post you cleared that up that you were new but a lot of guys have reading comprehension issues or only read the first post or two before posting to the thread.

The last several months I thot all that had been cleared up even with the most hard headed members.

It's very clear your an enthusiastic new trapper and have a great start. I enjoy your post.

I think what goes through most minds on the politics issue is our First Amendment concerns. Censoring by our corrupt government has us on edge. The people are tired of it.

But Paul has every right to try and keep the peace so to speak on his Trapperman site. Rules ARE needed. If we owned Trapperman we would be doing the same thing

I have had more than one post get axed. Infact I believe I started a dispatch thread myself when I first joined. I also believe the lines on dispatch get blurred when discussing drowning sets, body grips, rams kill lock snare and entanglements. So it seems as long as it's not about shooting blunt force or other means of the human taking action then it's ok if it's human directly taking action that's pm only. But hunting, guns, bullets, arrows heads, x bows, shot placement are good to go . Even pictures of wound channels are ok So seems a bit blurry especially to someone new. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my take.

Paul does a great job running this sight. It's not really blurry at all it's all about not giving the antis ammo to use for anti trapping. Just think how appears when natives club baby seals. We don't need that kind of publicity
