Steeltraps I know your main business is killing coyotes but how do those No bs traps work on cats? BTW, your flat sets are a work of art.

Have only caught 3 bobcats None in NO BS traps. Just long spring LPCs and MJ 600 Sterlings. Know USDA trapper that uses them. Will call tonite. See if I can get u a answer

ST, just remember, you’re not working in a factory day in and day out. I know you got headaches but it could be so much worse

That stinks Any bird hunters out in that area? I would bet a bird hunter would be more likely to jack with a snare than a deer hunter, just because of the dog factor People should keep their hands off other folks stuff period! At least it was a snare and not one of your MJ600s

Had trespassing last week. Guy = Probably = Townes Riding on a gas line shooting jack rabbits. I found 3 dead jack rabbits last week. And saw the vehicle turn around down pass our = sheep camp. Told owner latter. He wants me to = try and = citizens arrest them next time !! Told him. That between you and whoever these people are. I’m NOT getting involved. Just too much nonsense and late payment for me. Got me thinking about = Searching elsewhere for work. NOT in sheep Most I would do is get a plate number IF they came close enough. Sounds like a headache and a smart choice to drop that place when you can replace it

If you could find high fence customers in South Texas you would be much better off. I have been on some very nice ranches with air strips and hotel like places to stay. Many of them make their money off of oil and gas so money is not a problem. They also spend thousands on feed and water is pipeline throughout the ranch so game is everywhere. Coyotes, hogs and coons are an ongoing battle. These are big very nice ranches and I am positive you would not have any problems getting paid or your equipment being messed with. You should check with local biologist and game wardens. Sheep Country. Last 2 days have made me Rethink being here. Deer hunters = People stealing gear = People messing with gear. Sheep Ranchers that NEVER pay on time !! I maybe looking for a new job. Just mulling it over. Don’t think. I want to trap in Sheep Country much longer. Too many headaches

Chris,
I would be having a talk with your employer(s) regarding your late pay situation. I wouldn't stand for that, but that is me.
Those arrangements are usually made upon accepting the job. That follows under "terms and conditions of the agreement".
If what you say is what is happening now, it likely won't get any better without some changes. You say we are about done here unless things change, are we clear ?.
I can see a few days late in payment due to some extuating circumstances. But occuring on a regular basis I would have to back away and look elsewhere.
There are other opportunities out there. Start looking and make sure the next go round you get some conditions in writing if that hasn't already occurred.
If only hand written, you can have a copy and your employer also. State up front what you expect so there are no questions down the road. Not sure what happened with this situation or if it has been an on going situation for some time now.
Some folks at times, don't give folks like us in our professions much respect or appreciation, that is until we make them think differently. You can handle this as you see fit but as a business man, if things don't turn around, I would be actively looking around your network for another opportunity to replace this one. You are skilled and have good services to offer.
You be sure to start off your next job on more solid ground. Some folks can (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) foot around too much when doing job interviews. I just tell them like it is in a business like manner as best you can and leave it at that.
Bob J.
