ST, I am assuming the tarp is for scent control. Is the orange “X” to tell you which side goes up? If for scent control, How do you store it? Do you ever clean it?

Grubhoe. Is what that type hammer is typically called Is it a ball-peen hammer with the back cut off and a piece of flat stock welded on?

Crappie Killer. The Orange X. Is the clean side. It goes up Untreated Canvas tarp is what the Old Timers used. Also helps make good clean Flat Sets. Trying. To make it look like it did before I set trap there. This place is HARD to blend traps sometimes. Just store it in clean place with clean traps. It’s a newer Tarp. Heavier. For West Texas winds. The Untreated Canvas tarp I took to = James Lucero for lessons. Was 10oz tarp. As in 10oz per foot on 6 ft tarp. I went to take lesson from James Lucero. Strictly = to learn the = Old Wolfer ways that are being vastly forgotten Ok, picked up a 10oz tarp today. It is untreated 4’x12’. Going to fold it over and sew the edges to make a 4’x6’. Double thick
