Neve watched lonesome dove , yellow stone is ok, got pretty repetitive though You need to watch lonesome dove! Tried watching Yellowstone. Couldn't get into the sensationalized soap opera.
Lonesome Dove is a classic. Hard to pull ones self away from it. Needs watched repeated times to get it all. Lonesome Dove's been my favorite western for awhile. I've probably watched it 6-8 times. But rewatching Yellowstone for the 4th time I just don't know. I think I like it even better than Lonesome Dove.

Lonesome dove is better imo. Yellowstone is good but.......
For a good combination of both, watch open range. That movie is awesome!!

Yellowstone was good, watched it on some premium service with my wife. I guess the new season has started? I'm not interested enough to watch more.
I've never watched Lonesome Dove but I've read the first two books in Larry McMurtry's series and bought the last two, I'll start the third book soon.
I might watch the series when I'm done reading the books.
Which did I think was better? The books are always better so Lonesome Dove.
Eh...wot?

Lonesome Dove by far, Yellowstone gets to fictional for me.

watched all of the Lonesome dove and wished there was more
watched maybe a season of Yellowstone and meh.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
