still good money to me it is a tank of gas or almost a tank of gas
meal out with the wife
two cases of beer and a sack of pork rinds
2 boxes of ammo or maybe one if you have expensive taste
1 brick of 22
unfortunately it is not a brick or primers any more and only one pound of powder.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Funny you should mention this. We were recently discussing the tooth fairy. I remember getting a few coins when I was a wee lad. One guy said his grandson got a $20 bill from mom and dad for a lost tooth.
ergo, bibamus.

I remember working in tobacco in the early 60s for 50 cents a hour and that was work the kids that still work has a lot more easy way to make money today. I still bend over and pick up a penny head or tails.Yes $50 is still a chunk of change.
Government making sin legal does not make it right.

I make decent money but still hate to spend $50 on something if I don't have to
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure

I don't think of $50 as all that much, but still become outraged at spending $12 for a meal at a fast food restaurant. A lot of things I don't do any more because the prices have gone up so much. Not because I can't afford it, but because I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices. I have lived too long. Same here
