I will have to try the microwave; never did them that way before.

Another good way is to open a can of beer the night before. Let it sit overnight. The next day is add it to your boiling water. Gives the corn a different nice taste when the husked corn is done.


Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.

No microwave, air fryer, toaster oven or electric stove.
So corn goes on the grill or in boiling water on the gas range.

I put Butter and Garlic on them then wrap them in Foil and throw on the Grill. Then about 5 minutes before done I slash the Foil and let the smoky flavor get in!!!


God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

Tried the nuked corn today it was not nearly as good as boiled but it has been in the fridge for 5 days so that may be the reason.

Sorry I don’t recall the details, never tried it myself, but I knew a guy years ago that would wrap sweet corn in Saran Wrap with an ice cube between the corn and Saran Wrap then microwave it.

Gary’s method sounds much simpler and effective.
