It was a sheer pleasure to attend this convention. The temperature was a nice break from the oven I'm going back to. I got to visit friends from when I lived up here. I also got to renew friendships with trappers that I only see at conventions. What a great bunch of people that put this on. Thank you Roy, and all your tireless volunteers. Ya'll did a wonderful job, and it is enormously appreciated. The crowd was very good with over 4,000 through the gate. I sold out of most of my beaver lures, and I brought a lot.
Again, thank you to all those who made this the success it was!

Was a great convention, you all hit it out of the park with the kids cave this year. Gotta take the opportunity to mention Jeff Hagerty (J3 outdoors) for the muskrat demo he put on for the kids and all of the fiberglass poles and traps he sent with the kids in attendance. My girls are still talking about the demo. Also want to thank Alan from Funke trap tags for donating 4 Duke dogproof trap a pair of setters and a pint of bait to every kid that attended the DP demo in the kids cave.

Was great seeing you again Paul, had planned on getting back up there but time got away from me!

Hard to get most guys to get microphones close to their mouths. Best advice for most handheld mics is to eat the mic

I really wanted to go back to my truck, get my can on PB silicon spray and spray the crap out of that fan motor

A great convention! Christine and I enjoyed visiting with friends and making some new ones. The Michigan trappers put on a great show. Missed couple of vendors Saturday morning that I wanted to see, but it saved me money lol.

Paul, it was great visiting with you again.

It was a great first NTA for me, I met Marty and his wife, and the last Alaskans. I learned some new stuff at a few of the demos, spent some money, bought some more traps, talked to a lot of the vendors, and put some faces to names. Thanks to all the vendors, volunteers, and the trappers that made it possible for me to attend a great first convention. I hope to see some of you guys in Sioux Falls next year at the 2024 NTA convention.

My wife and I had a great time! She was my driver everywhere we went (I recently had knee surgery and wasn't supposed to drive). Trapping conventions are not her cup of tea, but she got to meet some fantastic people this week.
The U.P. Trappers association lead by Roy did an outstanding job of setting everything up and making sure it ran smooth. The "Trolleys" going back and forth was a blessing for me with my "gimp" and for those carrying bundles.
Escanaba and the surrounding areas has so much to offer, that's one reason it's a great place for a convention.

Thank you all who worked so hard for so long to make this another successful convention!

Sorry, that wasn't me carrying a 660. This is probably the first convention where I never bought one trap. Lots of other stuff, but no traps.

Nice job to the Michigan crew for hosting the NTA from our perspective as tailgaters. Enjoyed the couple of demos I attended and finally had a chance to briefly visit with Heimo and Edna. Shared with him I'd shown parts of the film Braving Alaska since it came out in the early 90s to thousands of sophomores in my biology classes 'til I retired.

Thank-you Michigan trappers for bringing them down here.

Was a fun event and seemed well attended. Little warm but summer arrives for at least a week in the U.P. every year!

Great time in Escanaba, thanks to all involved for putting on a great convention. I met a lot of great people , finally got to meet the Boss, and Boco . Pretty much the whole crew of the last Alaskans, Marty, and his wife from Mountain men.Made Joe Goodman a little happier. Sat my butt down at 11 demos.( Never too old to learn) and just too many other things to list.
