When I was very young I started trapping turtles in ponds with 20 lb test a 1/0 hook with a sunfish for bait. By the time me and my friends were 16 I started having turtle soup parties every fall. My best friend called me "Turtle" since I was probably 10 or twelve years old. I lived in a very small community and ever since then everyone called me Turtle including lots of my family members.

Name of the lake I caught my first fish at, about 50 + years ago. And place I still call home. Don't think I could ever not live on the water.
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

My dad named me after a WWII vet, Danny Benton.

My name was lefties from about 1999-the 1st big crash.....then Lt gray commented in a post he had heard I had gone rogue then died. In essence i hadnt gone rogue but as a former sd gf and p trapper i knew methods others didnt ,so when I was in Ohio the game wardens let me use methods to kill coyotes others couldnt. But i was in the blackhills(westriver) thus the name westriver rogue!

I built an offroad truck with tractor tires on the back and much smaller tires on the front. It resembled a T-Rex when doing wheelies.

When the internet was young...so was I. I was single but I had the social skills of Charlie Brown... He was clueless when Peppermint Patty was sending him signals and she would always misinterpret things he said as pick up lines... She would say "You sly dog, Chuck" or "You're a sly dog Charlie Brown" He was not... neither was I LOL. I remain awkward but married, the handle just stuck with me.
Just happy to be here.
