I had five bypasses installed in 2006. I am now in the process of getting set up to have my aortic heart valve replaced. Fun, fun, fun. I had things put off till after trapping season ended and I am planning on it all being in the past when the next opening day comes around. my buddy is going in next weerk for new aortic valve they say there going to do it through his wrist...amazing what they can do wwe went in today A friend of mine had his aortic valve replaced about 5 years ago. He's doing fine. He has to take certain meds and warfarin checks every month. It only took him a couple months and he was back to pretty much normal. It is amazing the advances in medical technology.

In my case no. I was having a heart attack and they dropped in 2 stents with in about a half hour. I had and still have a tooth that will not be around forever.
