If believing in Christ, and having a relationship with him makes you a Christian, then I can't remember a time I didn't 100% believe.
But, I have had individuals tell me I wasn't, because I didn't believe exactly like they did....Don't let anyone ever tell you your not a Christian if it's truly in your heart....No man on this earth is in a position to make that call, and that's on them if they do.

Raised Christian, lost my faith in organized religion for many reasons. Struggled with God and my doubts. Finding my way back to God thanks to my son. He is a better man than I.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt. 28:16–20.)

I can't speak for everyone, but I don't see the harm in seeking a bit of common ground, conversation and fellowship within a group of like minded people.
I can see where some may disagree with the open dialogue approach and may read into it things that aren't there... But different folks process their lives in different ways and seeking information or affirmation of faith might work better for others than it does for you.
Just happy to be here.

Rom 10: 13-17 For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, exept they be sent ? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord who hath believed our report? So then faith came by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Peter denied God The Denial of Peter (or Peter's Denial) refers to three acts of denial of Jesus by the Apostle Peter as described in all four Gospels of the New Testament.[2]
All four Canonical Gospels state that during Jesus' Last Supper with his disciples, he predicted that Peter would deny knowledge of him, stating that Peter would disown him before the rooster crowed the next morning. Following the arrest of Jesus, Peter denied knowing him three times, but after the third denial, he heard the rooster crow and recalled the prediction as Jesus turned to look at him. Peter then began to cry bitterly.[3][a] This final incident is known as the
I come to this site mainly for trapping info and tips, but sometimes come across some good thought provoking discussions about life too. Christ got ahold of me 15 years ago. I'm 49 now. Looking back, I can see that I was very stubbornly turning from him. Circumstances and my poor choices brought me to a very miserable point. I finally offered Him my life and accepted Him as my Lord and my Savior. Like others have said, life's problems sure didn't go away, but now, my concerns are His concerns. It's much better to have Jesus on your side when you go through life. He's my Best Friend.
I think everyone has a journey to salvation in Jesus that is as unique as their own person.
Here's a quote from Spurgeon that I read to help me from time to time when I struggle with my faith:
[Remember, therefore, it is not thy hold of Christ that saves thee-it is Christ; it is not thy joy in Christ that saves thee-it is Christ; it is not even faith in Christ, though that be the instrument-it is Christ's blood and merits; therefore, look not so much to thy hand with which thou art grasping Christ, as to Christ; look not to thy hope, but to Jesus, the source of thy hope; look not to thy faith, but to Jesus, the author and finisher of thy faith. We shall never find happiness by looking at our prayers, our doings, or our feelings; it is what Jesus is, not what we are, that gives rest to the soul. If we would at once overcome Satan and have peace with God, it must be by "looking unto Jesus." Keep thine eye simply on him; let his death, his sufferings, his merits, his glories, his intercession, be fresh upon thy mind; when thou wakest in the morning look to him; when thou liest down at night look to him.]

We are to plant seeds, let the Holy Spirit take it from there. I was brought up in a Christian family. I strayed away in my teens and 20’s. Started going to a First Free Methodist church and asked Jesus into my life. You have to die from your old self to have eternal life. I’m not perfect and never will be until I leave this earth. God has blessed me beyond what I deserve. God is good all the time.
It is more blessed to give than to receive

As for Christians, Chuck Swindoll said it during one of his sermons and it's certainly true; “Cults use our vocabulary, but they don’t use our dictionary.” There are core beliefs contained in the Christian faith and it's certainly useful to know the wondrous historic tenets found within Christianity.... during this time in world history where everyone has their own opinions of how they'd run things.
