Honestly, it didnt start out as a rainbow trout, and I changed my mind halfway through.

I actually want to start over and brighten it up significantly.

And at 22" if they dont want to eat it, they might want to fight or f*&% it lol

One of the stipulations of our bet was that the lure could not have any paint or have any spinners attached. I caught 2 pike in short order on it and his Husky Jerk got bit off, so he quit in disgust and paid me the ten bucks that I had just won. The rock flip-flopped when retrieved just like a Daredevyl.
When we fish a tournament together, I carry it as a good luck charm and a constant reminder to him

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Well I hope if he passes first you will put it on his grave.....just to weigh down that lost friendship
if passing tokens on is tradition at least.

I'd buy one of those rock lures painted up like the 5 of diamonds daredevil paints their spoons.

Your lures look great Hutchy!

Hutchy- very nice... they look great.
Have you ever tried or experimented with JIGSKINZ/PROSKINZ from Jann's Netcraft... I have not but it looks intriguing as a water transfer, I might try it

I haven't but will check on it now.

I want to try tanning a fish skin and using an actual walleye skin on some though
