4 inches of lake effect snow off Lake Erie when I got up this morning. Calling for a low of 23°F tonight. Won't plant till after Decoration Day.
Have a friend down the road that doesn't plant until July 1st and his garden grows and matures the same time as mine does. Tells me he saves a month of weeding lol. Of course his garden is in a flood plain with nutrients galore.

Are you going to sell your crops?

Some folks here risk getting corn in early because they can get 6 bucks/ dozen early, but when everyone is selling later on it goes for half that.

looking good my one zucchini plane I bought started is still only about a foot for the whole plant , the rest are just seedlings

we were still freezing till May 7

May 10 is commonly our should be frost free day

I am starting to get the asparagus I planted coming up it is tiny , I planted the crowns about mid april


America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
