22 this morning when I got up. High was 35 today. But it melted some of the freezing rain off. Are your potatoes in? Can't you see them. They are hilled up. Do you think it will stunt my tomatoes?

I missed them, they on the left or right. Your tomatoes will be okay as long as the bees are dressed properly.

I'd wait till mid May, but you do take a chance at frost...

4 inches of lake effect snow off Lake Erie when I got up this morning. Calling for a low of 23°F tonight. Won't plant till after Decoration Day. Have a friend down the road that doesn't plant until July 1st and his garden grows and matures the same time as mine does. Tells me he saves a month of weeding lol. Of course his garden is in a flood plain with nutrients galore.

You'll get away with planting early a few times, and then you'll be redoing it once in awhile.

looking good my one zucchini plane I bought started is still only about a foot for the whole plant , the rest are just seedlings
we were still freezing till May 7
May 10 is commonly our should be frost free day
I am starting to get the asparagus I planted coming up it is tiny , I planted the crowns about mid april
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
