# 2 Montys had the button that had a threaded post under to keep the pan from getting caught. Down side was if a rock got inline under it would keep it from firing.

About the only thing I liked about that threaded post was being able to set the trap with my middle finger from underneath as I depressed the levers. Otherwise it was a PIA.

Looks like a high lever #2 model to me. I toured their facility in the 70s, way cool fun.
If you look into Taos helper springs, the wider spring pin is for the high lever, narrower for low lever. I sold my 2s when the hype started, twice lol.
