While haggling with my insurance company, about the cheapest replacement we could find on the west coast that was comparable (even with high mileage) was about $6500. They ended up giving me $3000 and I took it to a Russian body shop and they fixed it (new parts, not Bondo) for $1200. Truck prices really seem to vary by region.
