With California's more than 48,000 new leading the way, the United States as a whole added a record 249,709 new cases of COVID-19 in one day, Johns Hopkins University reported Saturday. The death toll now stands at more than 315,000.

Has anybody seen the numbers for total deaths in 2019 compared to 2020? Wondering if there is a significant rise in 2020?

See that’s where I have an issue...there is video of a Congresswoman or some type of political person stating on video at a meeting that if you test positive for covid at death then the death IS counted as a Covid death. She even referenced a car accident victim. So I have to agree with the post above mine.

Yes, I have looked into it. From January-october 2020 the United States experienced 299,000 more deaths than we did in 2019

Wether or not it has anything to do with covid, that is startling.

And as an interesting side-note, millennials (not this millennial) are not expected to have enough children to replace our generation, even before the record number of deaths this year. In fact, our parents statistically had three times as many children as we do as a generation. So maybe mrs. gates is gonna get her depopulation after all.

Hahaha , I was just going to post that

It wasn't projected to have any more than normal from what I was seeing , then overnight the numbers increased to 300,000 to keep in line with the MSM scare tactics

I think normally they don't have a firm count on total annual deaths until well into to the next year .

So we'll see

Can't be true. California is already following the Biden virus plan. Wear a mask. Lockdown the state.

Didn't you hear, there was a devastating surge in cases after Thanksgiving.

Except, there wasn't.

As far as more deaths

According to the US census bureau the US pop grew by 1.5 million from 2018-19. Do you think more people died?

Hey Bob, where did you find "provisional" 2020 deaths for the entire U.S.? I've numerous time for that number in the past and couldn't find it. Please post the link. So, we're over 3 million total deaths for the year because total deaths for both 2018 and 2019 were in the 2.8 million range.

I had bugged SD DoH people for a 2020 "provisional" (means the number can still change) because they hadn't posted any. They got back to me this week and had just posted. Through October. South Dakota was up 480 so far over 2019. The numbers had only start to diverge from each other in September and substantial in October. Sure would like the source for 2020 and it not be some modeled "excessive" death thing.
