Extending a finished wall and was wondering what to do. Should I pull corner bead so I'll have sheet rock butting sheet rock or leave corner bead and have sheet rock butt corner bead? Which would be proper.easier to finish?

I think I'd pull it. They have that raised edge on them that makes it easy to finish a corner but might put a ridge in your tape and screw you up when sanding. I guess it depends on your skill level.
Eh...wot?

pull the corner bead and go rock to rock. Tape the joint. The important thing is that both pieces of sheetrock can't move later. Get something solid behind the joint.

As for skill level I reckon I'll have to sand a little more than usual. From the responses I guess I'll be pulling the corner bead. Thanks for the input fellas.
