I was planning on taking my Bedford rifle out and working on load development some today... But the wind seems to have other plans...

I'm getting ready to haul the remnants of the shed roof to the local transfer station so I guess I'll find out just how windy it is.

I was out yesterday at my brothers with a bunch of guys from his church. Rifle to 500 yards and handguns after lunch, shotgun games took up the morning. Great weather and a lot of fun; lots of rounds down range. Gotta get something similar set up for our guys at the church I go to. I think we could set up to 1000 yards in one of my pastures, along with places for handguns and shotgunning.

I was minding my own business on Friday, driving through Wisconsin. A couple hours later, I realized that a 20 gauge Beretta O/U had followed me home.

It clearly needed to be exercised, so I took it to the trap range for a workout.

Good job taking in a firearm that needed a home. Plus getting it some exercise, that sir is a fine accomplishment. You should be proud.

Shot the 45 cal smokepole today.Only once(today) did I load a ball without powder.Opps! Took the nipple out ,poured a few grains of tripple 7 down the hole and put the nipple back and did a quick "stuck" ball removal.

Going to ask my surgeon on Tuesday when I can shoot. For now I am not allowed to lift over a gallon of milk. That is probably about eight pounds. Got a new Triggertech trigger and float job on my 7-08 Mod 700. Probably going to hang up the long action calibers for my future years. Neck and shoulder problems seem to reappear after absorbing recoil. Dusting off a 20 gauge skeet model 1100 for clays.

This is the knife he made me when i was one, 35 years ago, and some tapered shafts i just finished that im taking to Hawaii tomorrow. Added some polish flare to them. Tapered spruce. Shooting like darts. Who needs scopes!??
