Definitely done spee dee delivery , spent cpl hours on hold talking different ppl with different stories, 1 say they talk driver an coming , another I call about asking about charge on card an ssy they still try get ahold driver, now the manager say that the driver lost the tags or all paperwork, an do I wznt to try ship tomma? Now supposed to be waiting for call from someone to find out if the driver coming today story is true, no call yet an i have leave for work an they close at 5 an not sure if to leave out for tomma or what, this is bs, I never go though them for a thing ever again, never a 1 problem with USPS, fed ex or UPS , sore dee delivery very unprofessional , rink dink, I would never ship fur or anything important after that with them

I've shipped a bunch of fur through spee dee, never had one problem. I know most if not all the big trap supply dealers in MN will use them if they can. They are not a little bit cheaper, they are a lot cheaper and almost always quicker.
Think about that Dave.

We live in a fairly remote area. The nearest gas station is 24 miles away the nearest grocery store is 45 miles away and the nearest Wal-Mart is two and a half hours away. I ordered supplies from minntrap (great company) a couple of years ago and they shipped it via speedee. I kept waiting and waiting finally a delivery driver called me and said if I wanted my package I would have to drive an hour north to a town he would be in other wise I would have to wait until they had another delivery in my area. Since I had already waited over a week for a package from one state away I drove the two hours round trip to get it. I now request that my packages are not shipped with speedee. This new company DHL is murder on us rural folk also. Yeah, its unfortunate that if SpeeDee is going to have deep rural places such as much of West River SD on their service map, that they don't have some other arrangements with people who go through those communities more often then they do. When there used to be regional bus lines, they would leave packages at drop off points in nearby towns and people could then pick them up when they came through. Maybe that's a community thing that could be brought up and worked with SpeeDee on. If there was a way they could make such occasional ways out there stops more porfitable and the folks living in those parts better service, maybe a win-win for everybody. They are an absolutely no frills CHEAP way to ship in their region. The first time I shipped with them, I arrived a winter's evening (they are open 7-9 am and 5-7 pm for taking "walk-in" packages), I had to chase down a driver after about 5 minutes waiting for someone to show up in their front room and then donated a couple bucks to their "coffee fund" because I didn't have exact cash (they had no way to make change) and I didn't have a check book. BUT even with dropping another two bucks ontop of their charge, they were a THIRD the cost that I had figured for FedEx-- I was shipping an old 1950s bike frame to someone in down state Illinois. To me, their no frills was worth their "hassle". As I said earlier, I shipped about half a dozen smaller boxes (30-40 pounds) of e-waste to a place in WI at HALF the cost per pound than shipping FedEx to ne OH. Granted, e. WI is a lot closer to me than Cleveland but still HALF the cost. I'll take their quirks for that increase in cash flow.

Tomma? Does this mean tomorrow? He's speaking that Iowa creole. No. No he is not. I almost thought he was from the south for a minute. (no offense to my southern friends) LLL

My package always gets delivered, but they need to work on their tracking. Tracking is on their web site, but when you put in your tracking number, it says cannot be found.
