Anyone had trouble with them? A lil cheaper but I think ups more reliable, was supposed pick package of traps while gone at work outside door, never happen, I already prepay, call customer service more than once an put on hold forever. No success at talk them, supposed be tomma, now, if don't happen, I ask for immediate refund, was told not immediate an have talk manager, I had trouble with them once yrs ago, this well be last time dealing with spee dee delivery , noway I would ever ship furs with them after today

I use them all the time. By far the best way to ship if its within their shipping area. No troubles ever. Super fast and cheap!

They have always been VERY VERY dependable for me.There is a ice storm going on so that may be the reason for the delay. I would not give up on them for that. They are ALOT cheaper than USPS.

That's because when a business does the job they are expected to no one mentions it but make one mistake and it's get out there and complain fast! lol Under 40 bad reviews out of a crapload of deliveries I'd say they are doing a pretty good job! They just need to hire someone to recruit good reviews and they could be 95% 5 star reviews.

My guy went on a bender a few years back took about 5 days to get a package I should of got in 2 days, the company talked to the local depo manager and he told them he would drive it down Friday, it came on Monday! LOL That has been the only problem I ever had with them they deliver a lot of trapping stuff and never complain about the weight or stank.

Great guys we ship with them every day, weather is also a safety issue. Never had a problem with them.

I am not happy at all with them an busy an no time for games with them or wait hours on hold with ppl that do not help, if problems tomma. I well be trip out on the on phone with manager asking for immediate refund to debit card. If not, I guess all can do is csll bank an protest a charge, on my card, there not cheap ,maybe $3 bucks less ups, FedEx or UPS has pretty good name, i had trouble once before with s part I ordered for snowblower with them, all I can say is never agsin with them, I reslly think that they didn't want to bother with stopping off in town as no other bussiness possibly, could be I am out $22.21 , that cheap for a 17 lbs package, not real big? roads were not bad, start sleeting around 4, still roads are ok for truck , not bad, I had go work in cold an snow an be on time all last week, no excecuses, I don't tolerate any bs games

I recently saved over $77.00 on a 82 pound box of Traps I shipped with Speed Dee. I use them alot and they get a 5 Star Rating from me. Sorry to hear your misfortune Dave, but if you give up on them, you will be wasting alot of money shipping elsewhere.

Since I live in a rural area, our Speedy delivery guy waits until he has enough packages to make the trip out worth while for him. Last package they delivered was supposed to be next day but took over a week for me to get. I think this is more of an issue with the driver but then complaining to Corp goes no where.

I use them whenever I can, can't say I've ever heard a complaint about speedee. Happy trapping! ScottW

Not surprised you haven't heard of them. They operate strictly in the upper Midwest - Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin. Maybe a few other states. They dont work in New Mexico or Idaho or any western state. Which is a bummer.

Ship a ton of stuff and had great luck. Fast and cheap

I've had great luck with Speedee. FedEx and UPS are another matter. Every delivery by FedEx is like an Easter egg hunt, have to search the neighborhood for it. I have lived here for years and without fail my packages end up somewhere else.

I thought that was a Mr.Rogers thing.

They lost a bag of finished rats that I mailed to FHA in Stoughton WI. I mailed it with them because they had to be there by a certain date. Two weeks later I get a call that said they had found them in their warehouse in MN. I have shipped tons of finished fur with them and for the savings they are worth using. I still use them. Just insure the package for way more than it is worth. Their insurance is cheap too.


Dave you seem like you have problems where no one else does. If it can happen it will to you. Is your last name Murphy by chance? LLL

Maybe your package got ripped off...? That does happen once a while with packages left outside. Maybe it will still show up. You know USPS isn't going to give you the time of day until a month goes by and still no delivery. SpeeDee is a no frills operation, I'm not surprised you can't get anything out of their "customer service". Ever actually send anything out with them? You either pay with a check or exact cash, I've donated to their coffee fund more than once. BUT they are cheaper. I do a little very small scale e-scrap. My cost shipping to a place near Cleveland with FedEx was about $1.40 a pound. Shipping to a place in Wisconsin was costing me about 65 cents a pound using SpeeDee. Of course, WI is a lot close than OH but still it shouldn't be half the cost. Too bad the e-scrap guy in WI went unstable. You're unlikely to get your purchase cancelled through your cc/debit card. Most such cards won't move on things with any speed unless you can actually show fraud. They will want you to work it out with the company. Good luck and maybe this is a lesson in patience. Learning patience can be a good thing...
