Wish her the best.
My mom had both knees put in at the same time when she was 82. It took her a month or so to get going half decent again, but she doesn't have the pain she had before.
Steps give her trouble still, but otherwise she gets around ok.
(Guess i should say "stairs")

Do you want someone to start a go fund me account for you?
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Shoot Hal, I bet that will take most of your beaver fur check. Tell Miz to hang in there.

You should have just stopped by the Funeral Home and picked her up a good used one, probably 1/3 of the price. Those folks don't need them anymore. JUST KIDDING
Hope she continues with her speedy recovery.
B You may laugh but my brother had reconstructive knee surgery and they grafted a cadaver tendon onto his to rebuild it. He has a little limp when he walks. I tell him the donor must have been a Homey and he has that cool "Pimp Limp" now.
