I was Canoeing The Back Channel South End Of Sandy Pond Against The Sand Dunes Today periodically Breaking Ice When I Came Upon A School Of Crappie That Would Boggle The Mind Of Most Crappie Enthusiasts.
There Had To Be A School Of Several Thousand packed in A stretch Of water Less Than 20 Yards Long.
I Wear Polarized Sunglasses To Help Spot Dens, Runs, Etc. and I Was Shocked At The Numbers Of Fish Pasing Beneath The Canoe In Less Than Four Feet Of Water.
I'd have been more excited If I Fished Crappie But I Don't. LOL
