Who’re you telling? My daughter was eight when I first joined . Now she’s in her second semester of college.

We are all unique in our own way. I'm way different than anyone on this site and so are you. I have been a part of this family for almost 9 years. Exactly. While snowy is correct in that we’ve got other great women trappers here , many of us have watched Kristen grow up . As a trapper , into a woman , and so on . It’s a cool dynamic, really.

Fact is , this bunch have seen me through regaining my love of harvesting fur , a deployment, a divorce soon after, new beginnings in family and faith . Lots of that has been shared here . Kristen also shared her development. Sooo...

Sorry for the loss of your grandfather.

Congrats on the baby girl!! They are the most amazing things ever. My son will be 1 on the 22nd of January, I can’t even remember what life was like before him...

That's a nice one there.
So when you go out on the line next fall, the baby backpacks are great for the little ones to be with you...but you have to remember to bend at the knees when checking traps....or the little ones come squirming past your head....heading for the drink. Luckily I caught my little one before her first marsh baptism. After that my spouse carried our 8 month on her back.
