But wait, It's a "miniature spring jump hunting trap!" You know how rare those are? I missed that, I guess I was so excited to see how much money I was going to make, I just missed that part. Maybe "miniature spring jump hunting trap" is printed on the pan and that is where the value is.

You ever wonder what some people are thinking?
I was on ebay and some nut case is tiring to sell some traps. All rust buckets, you can't even read the pans. Most are smaller #1 ls and jumps, a 1.5 coil, etc.
And they can be yours for, are you ready for this, $129.99...... EACH!
Used gun cases. 1 for $129.99 and 1 for $149.99.
This person has lost it!! They probably wonder why no one bids on them.

Looks like the original ($1000) trap that was lowered to $20 sold.

I had an OLD Eskimo ''brainer'' trap, made of a hallowed mammoth leg bone, a pice of whale rib and an ivory trigger set up. and basicly a spiked clup that flipped/smashed under sinew tension. basicly a 'wind up' sort that had a string release when the bait tied to it was pulled. Was offerd 200$, but it was too cool to sell. Besides, my idea of ''Rich' is to have my needs met, food shelter, clothing, the rest is optional
What would the Founding Fathers do?
