Pesky, our Govenor is having a heck of a time getting mining started again in Wisconsin. If he needs you, can I put you down as guest speaker? ( Of course, we only have gold, silver, and iron, so maybe it ain't worth it )

This plays right into this topic. About 45 minutes ago, I'm standing in line at the grocery store check-out. The guy in front of me is $4 short and he and his young son are trying to figure out what costs 4 bucks that they can have the check-out gal take back.
We'll you could have knocked us both over with a feather. The cashier pulls 4 bucks out of her apron and throws it in the till. I'm sure she was the most elderly cashier in the place. I'm really beginning to love old people. The customer was still stammering about how he was going to pay her back as he left the store. Old folks usually have much better manners and attitudes than your average teeny. The few times I've been bowled over by good service at fast food places were almost always 50+ y.o. employees.

I would like to thank the author of the recent safety article in WCT, for taking the time to visit my team to discuss his recent fall. You can tell a guy is committed to the business when he writes an article AND visits a reader! Thanks Jack!

The thing about safety...it is a thankless job because you never know if you prevented an injury. My guess - he saved many injuries with that article.

That would be fun, if I had that talent. If I had a wish...it would be to play music.

Here is a public service video that we put together to educate kids about bats. It includes a discussion about the importance of not handling wild animals. http://youtu.be/9CTnJkIgwaU

I have been a volunteer fireman for 28 years. I trap all the village parks for moles each spring and take care of any wild animals issues that come up. I live in a small village. I also trap mole at two of our local churches.
