Hey guys just getting into ADC for some beavers. Was wondering what you guys charge. I know its may be kinda private but I have no idea and would like to be fair. Do you charge per animal or job? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If not comfortable putting on forum please PM me. Just need some help. Thanks guys!

Several ADC trappers charge by the hour in this area for beaver work.

dmtrapper shows he is from Troy Alabama. Any other year he would be experiencing 85 degree days and dryer weather. This year we are colder now and much wetter. That all plays into it.

An hourly rate with mileage normally, would be best from march 10 to dec. Ist. In my Opinion due to the normal weather conditions he would have that slow down activity, response, and limit set types.

Dec., Jan,and Febuary it would be different.

Yeh Kirk the weather is definitely not normal this year. Activity is still really good in my area for now.

I did nuisance beaver work for a wage for years for a railway.Because of the threat of washouts, the railways are required by law to have a beaver control program in place.
The rates were $30\hr,10hrs\day,4 days\wk, 8 months\yr.$100\day per diem,and 8 to 12 hrs\wk overtime at time and one half.
They supplied the fuel, the hi-rail truck and all traps and trapping related equipment.
I had to be qualified in Rail operating rules besides licenced as a trapper.
Also was responsible for 900 miles of track(beaver control)and lowering-removing all high water.
Had to fly by chopper each year to identify inland threats in the wilderness areas of up to several miles in the bush and remove beaver and lower water. Also took a lot in urban localities.

As you can see working for a company is not the same as freelancing.

Pricing varies according to the accessibility to the area, distance traveled, how large of an area to be worked and about how many animals may be harvested.

Our last two jobs went from $1200.00 to $1950.00. Very few are under $1000.00 unless they are within 5 miles of our base of operations then those jobs would be priced accordingly.

Last year was the driest in Wisconsin history, while this winter has been one of the wettest. Never had a single call for beaver last year. I'll try to remember to let you know if this year is any different.

If some one live traps beavers and would like to find a place to relocate a couple, contact me.
I am not looking for an unlimited supply, only a couple. South Central Wisconsin.
Thanks
