i usually make em with left over salmon but you can use it fresh as in uncooked also.. just chop/blend it up and roll in egg and cracker crumbs then fry... i find it easier to use the leftover or bake a fillet in the oven then do it.

One can of salmon, crush the bone by hand.

break an egg into it and mix.

add celery salt, onion salt, garlic to taste or leave it out.

crush about a half sleve of crackers.

mix ingredients together

form into patties and cook in preheated fry pan with a little cooking oil (enought to cover the bottom of the pan)

cook about 4 min or until brown. Flip and cook till brown. Tom

Only one ive tried to make......Pretty good and easy.....
* 14 oz salmon...canned....
* 2 egg
* 1 cup Italian/regular bread crumbs....depending on likens
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1 tsp. pepper
* 1 or more or less onion diced...green peppers if ya like em
* olive oil, enough to cover bottom of skillet.... substitute other oil for differnt taste

Remove skin and bones drain well. combine with egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and onion. fry in oil until brown on both sides about 10 minutes.

Here is a site you might enjoy.... smile

Canned salmon, 1 beaten egg, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. I like Franks Red Hot on mine and sometimes I throw some red pepper flakes in the mix too.

We don't do the patties thing but this is what we do.

First you catch and clean them.

Then you soak some cedar planks in water for an hour or two.

Then salt and pepper the salmon fillets and then put on BBQ for about 30 minutes or so.

Then eat with rice and vegtables.

I just had to razz ya some.

Well...if I had to do it, I would use a little Old Bay Seasoning in the mix anyway. Can't hurt a thing. We found Old Bay in the wilds of Iowa at the NTA one year, so I expect you can find it down there in civilization.
