My new Cabinet saw arrived already yesterday. I took my time putting it together today. Got everything as flat and level as possible, trammed the table to the blade and the fence to the blade. It's pretty nice and cut quite nicely on my test pieces. I was even able to modify the sled from my old saw, and it's even nice and square. Now I just have to get rid of the old one. It's taking up way too much space. Please disregard the mess in my shop, it came in quite a few large boxes.

I'm going to list it this weekend. I plan on getting it all cleaned up tomorrow and taking pictures. It's still a good saw, I've just progressed past it and needed an upgrade.

A project coming up will be to make an end feed table. I never made one for the other saw because I knew it was on its way out. This Saw should outlive me, so that will be a must.

No, The government is about to mandate that, which is one of the big reasons that I upgraded to a lifetime saw.

Nice shop Finster.
Any certain type blades you like to use?

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

For the money, I've had good luck with CMT blades. A thin kerf is also nice for saws with lower horsepower, provided you can find a thin enough riving knife if you use one.

I have that same saw and for general purpose cutting I use the blade that came with it. But if I want a very smooth (Jointer quality) finish I use a Forrest "Chop master" Carbide tipped sawblade (80 Tooth, .105 Kerf).

Thanks. I was thinking of putting up pictures of my shop, but I don't know if I want to advertise any more than I already do.
