daruoho OP trapper D Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 153 Wisconsin	Got a coon board and I'M planning on making some more. The only thing is the one I got has about the First 2" cut off so it does not come to a point is this a problem or is this how they should be?

The boards that I have bought and made have a 1/2 to 3/4 inch flat at the top, as invaribly if there is a sharp point it can and will get damaged from removing a tight pelt either by gently prying up on the nose or slightly banging end of board on floor.
