They look like the Aleutian Ground squirrels on Chirikof Island. They figured they were planted there, but there was no record of it to show that.

I took tomorow off work as its finally warm to go again. Ill video how we set the trap tomorrow. Ill bring some peanut butter and try a few baited sets too.

I needed 7 more squirrel to make 20, I got 8. Now I can send out to get tanned and hopefully they will be enough for Boco to sew me a ground squirrel bunting bag for my next grandbaby due in October

Looking to get them tanned now, $33.00 CAN a squirrel, more than I would have thought but lots of work to tan I suppose.

Yeah I'm waiting for an official qoute from the tannery. But I probably will have them tanned locally.
