I am a little more picky about chicken because often it was the way overpriced yuppie chicken and it only gets it down to the price of regular chicken. That joint has some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten! Fried chicken, collard greens, beans, and corn bread was an awesome lunch. Dont even remember what I paid, but it didn’t matter, lol!

We live about 60 miles from the coast and the Coast Guard called this morning, they have a bird issue they need help with so calling the crabbing trip a business trip. Win Win. wws

Mom burned me out on chicken. Fried chicken, baked chicken, shake & bake chicken, chicken salad. Cheap way to feed 5 kids back then. We’d butcher 150 a year. I’ll still eat it, but only as a guest lol.

We raise 30 or so a year and sell enough to cover the price of the feed and the chicks. Still with labor etc. they are not cheap but are 7lbs. roasters and way better than those in the store in my opinion. Bryce
