Well a saga that began 9 month ago is finally over. A couple weeks ago her petscan (sp?) showed that the mouth cancer was gone. Thursday she had her Thyroid successfully removed and everybody is saying she is cancer-free. The concurrent radiation and chemo beat her up pretty good but it paid off. With all the scans she had a couple non-cancerous issues came to light but we will deal with them once she has regained her strength.
Thanks to all for your prayers, support, and encouragement. We have been together for 48 years now and are looking forward to the next 48+.
Old Moosetrot is happy and lucky to have such a wonderful woman at his side.

cancer is,,,,,,,,,,, no words , it just steals the people you love.
very glad she has it beat now any you can both get back to the things you love.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Great news, Moosetrot! I am thrilled to hear this.
My wife has been at my side for 38 years. She started radiation therapy, and chemotherapy on Wednesday, for the same thing, and we are looking forward to a big win.
