I bought a pair of hip boots from Dan's a number of years ago. Not even sure when...maybe four or five years ago. I've probably only used them a handful of times. so, they LOOKED fairly new, but really aren't. went fishing a few weeks ago and my left foot got wet as soon as I stepped in the water. My right foot started feeling a little "clammy", but not wet.
long story, I contacted Kevin at Dan's and he said, send them in, they'd take a look at 'em. I sent them last Friday, via UPS (cost me $24). Ann called me on Tuesday and said she found a few places on both boots that could cause wet feet. She asked when I bought them and said she'd do her best to buy me some more time with them. Boots arrived today (one week after they left my hands). Now, I haven't tried them out yet, but I'll bet I get some more use out of them.
and they didn't charge me a nickel.
Just wanted to pass along this fine example of a company standing by their product, when they really had no obligation to do so.
Well Done, Kevin and Ann!

Love their brier gear. Boots, not so much. Not to be a fool in anything but good stuff is good stuff, especially if it's made here.. time to support the home team if you ask me.

There are other American made boots and wouldn't it be foolish to choose the lesser of two American made products? In my opinion, Stone Creek's made in Pennsylvania boots can't be beat. They are replicas of the Wick boots of days gone by and just as good as they were if you ask me. I have not used Stone Creek's other brier proof products as I've been happy with Dan's. I see no reason why a person can't utilize both companies to get the best of both worlds.

good to hear I have a set of briar chaps they were very helpful when I called about measuring and sizing as I was right between 2
planning on getting a briar vest jacket this year
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
