Does anyone know the best place to have your best chance of success at trapping grey fox? I live in Illinois and we do not have a large number of red fox yet alone a large population of grey fox.

I was hoping to find a trapping guide service or trapping adventure going after grey’s. However when searching the only trapping adventures are mainly in Canada.

I thought I would post something here in hopes that someone may be able to point me in the right direction or be able to hook me up with someone that can help me on my quest at wanting to trap grey fox.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Got you covered man! Come to southern Oregon and you can catch 100 in two weeks no problem. PM me for details if you care to.

From Illinois also haven’t caught one in 30 years yet they got limits on bobcats and they’re everywhere

How many people spell it "Grey" vs "Gray"? It sort of depends on where your version of English comes from...

I'm sure they would as long as they are set up right with welded swivels.
I'd prefer to have at least two inline shock springs.
They may be a little overkill on those smaller Grey's. smile

Believe Gray is the proper spelling, maybe people spell it grey because of the predominate color of the animal.

Gray fox is some of the prettiest fur there is. For that reason, I can't believe they aren't worth more than they are.

Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.

Here in PA the best grey fox territory is generally around swampy areas along waterways, brushy areas in farmlands, stands of pines near fields, & any woods roads that run through any of these

TILL THAT DAY.....
