I would also include statistics on how many cats and dogs are killed by coyotes, plus attacks by rabid animals on people.

Since you have time before needing to do it, I'd try to do some research on how many pets each year contract various diseases from wildlife. You could write something like.... "Every year, XXX pets become sick due to diseases spread by wild animals. When wildlife becomes overpopulated, diseases run rampant increasing the likelihood of your pet getting an illness spread by wild animals. Trapping is a humane and efficient way to keep wildlife populations at healthy levels, benefiting not only your pets, but the wild animals themselves."

For the picture, I'd not show animals in traps to that group. I'd go for a pic of a trapper with a packbasket, maybe trapping WITH his dog.

Get the brochure "Is Mother Nature Humane" from the FTA and study it. May give you some ideas.

Also a picture of a big city or a new industrial complex or housing complex and talk about what happens to the animals that were displaced when we the people destroyed their habitat. We continue to crowd wild animals into smaller available habitat that results in over population and fosters the rapid spread of disease or starvation. It also results in fights over available space and food. To maintain a healthy population we need to maintain a balance of to the available resources and that requires the removal of the excess.

Pet friendly and pro trapping.

People that are against trapping can suck eggs. Worrying about what picture to show them is silly. They hate you and your not going to change that.

Trapping predators has saved several endangered species. In some specific incidences, trapping foxes has saved the nesting of endangered shore birds. I think there are more specific cases that could be brought to light. Seems to me a post on this would be appropriate. You'll need to do some research but the info is out there.

Easy to say tell you figure simply not saying a thing about trapping hurts nothing but has the potential to make her employer loose clients and cut into profit if they do. Cost vs benefits.

If there is nothing gained for the business but possibly of loss money it's probably best to keep quiet. Just to point out I'm not a hypocrite I feel the same when business, actors, ect get into the woke social bs.

Sell your products they have nothing to do with the gay or woke crap. The only way I see this being related to pets is animal health ie fluffy got ate or ripped up by the cute fox or coyote so predictor control is important for your pets health you know the business people go to vest for. Bring awareness to the neighbors have been feeding the coyotes, fox, Coin and the risk to pets and disease for the animals people care about and spend money on things like like mange, possible poo on hay, rabies, ECT. Things that not only involve animal health but profit and business for the vet. Otherwise....

I've painted for the owner of a veteranary for quite a few years now. While she isn't pro-trapping and doesn't actually condone trapping, she knows there's a need for it. She even asked me to lend her husband a few bodygrips to trap mink that were killing the koi in there pond.

Point is, even people who aren't all gung-ho about whatever the subject, they may be easily swayed when said subject effects them personally. Sooo, don't worry too much about offending anyone. Do your thing but use common sense.

My opinion only, I would stay away from posting anything trapping related. I see no upside for you personally and lots of potential downside. I sell trapping supplies, have been most of my adult life, of course we have a web page, phone numbers, email, Facebook, and all that. We have been harassed and attacked by antis on all this as long as we have been in business. Things being posted like: I hope your kids are skinned alive, hope you die, your going to (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) for selling traps, anything you can possibly imagine. This extreme fringe of antis cannot be reasoned with, waste of time to even engage them. This is what you will expose you and your family too. Your employer could end up on a bunch of anti websites and be boycotted and harassed.

You have a zest for life and doing interesting things, this just seems to me to be a potential problem and complication to your life that doesn't need to happen. Do what you feel you need to do, I just wanted to give you another perspective. Good luck in however you proceed.
