Can't get a season on these critters... because aren't enough of them.

I would think if they are getting on the road there is a few of them.

Probably more than people realize.

I hate to see anything dead on the road. Such an undignified way to go.
Most times can be avoided if people would drive a little more aware

We're getting a season here in Indiana in 2025,who knows what it's going to amount to.
My thinking has always been:
Coyotes are thick in all parts of the state, BUT, ask yourself, how many do you really see in a year? I'm guessing not many and cat are much more reclusive than coyotes.

More than they think guaranteed

We have plenty of bobcats in Ohio to have a season. The Noble County game warden told me about 4 or 5 years ago that he picked up 33 in his county that year. I had a game warden ride with me for a day this year and we had 3 run across the road in front of us. I saw 2 others several miles from there a few weeks earlier and I caught only 3 this year in water sets. Caught 6 in water sets 3 years ago. Yes we have plenty.

There needs to be some sort of automobile reform, regulation.
Wild life safe driving.
The cruelty of it .

The cars that kill should be regulated. You would need a permit to purchase and they would be registered with the state. If your car killed a critter it could be prosecuted. Of course the criminals would just drive a ghost car.

While Minnesota has a 5 cat limit each year and no application needed Wisconsin which is crawling with cats takes years fora tag. 7 years for my late season tag. Our game managers are a joke. I had pictures of At least 14 different cats most within 4 miles of my house 4 in one picture one night and 3 miles away 3 in one picture same time frame that’s 7 right there.
