Need some advice to see if what I did is going to hurt me or help me. So I did that ^^^^ to some of my different mink and muskrat traps. And really I don’t know if it will help me or not. What do you guys think?

******* I save my sick days, because come winter, I'm gonna have a bad case of trappin fever *******

Good job bud.
FYI, I used thinner gauge cable on many of mine and instead of ferrules I used black coated wire crimp connectors they were a lot thinner than ferrules. Not all of mine got wire loops but most did.
Yours should work fine too though and yours will hold up well over time.
I camo spray painted all my 110s for mink. Wanted to make them harder for humans to find mostly. I set a lot of weedy or grassy water ways here along my coyote line. I pick up a lot of mink in those locations in fields around here.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I did that to a bunch of my small body grips. They work good but will collect more weeds and debris if set in current. I painted the connectors on mine.
