You won't be disappointed. Mildred island, discovery bay, mothball, franks tract, but that's when the water cools and they follow the bait to the warm water. Right now they're headed up the sac to spawn, and I've only fished that scenario 250 miles upstream. Good luck have fun and BE SAFE. The delta has many hazards and with the heavy winter be extra cautious of logs. My dad would have me go to the bow and keep watch for them and he'd cruze just fast enough to be on plane. Sometimes it's just a shadow in the water.

18" is minimum. But 8-12 lbs is the best size to keep.
