I have been going through all of my traps and making any repairs or Modifications before hanging them. Anyone do any dipping before storing for the summer. I never have. Always wait until late summer before getting them back out.

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

Lots of trappers clean, modify and dye/dip their traps in the spring or early summer.

No problem if they are stored out away from say a garage that has gas, exhaust odors, etc.

I like it better because the late summer & early fall is less hectic with rushing to get traps treated when you can be out hunting/ scouting.

All my beaver traps are done. Haven't done land traps yet. I'll either do them in the late spring/early summer or at the last week before season. Too hot in the middle of summer for me

Do mine in the fall less contamination possibility that way, heck I redo the ones that I did not use the year before then just to be sure that way.
