He was in Maine picking potatoes and the farmer pointed to a far away rise on the horizon and said "So what do you think of that mountain"? MY dad was somewhat puzzled and replied: "Mountain? From where I'm from we call that a hill." ...My dad grew up in the shadows of Mt St. Helens and Mt Hood. Both 10-11,000 peaks. (Well, St. Helen's was in my dad's time anyway.)
