What is the best thing to plant in a small food plot for the summer to just get deer to pass through?(roughly 20x20yards) Clover might work but I'd have to till it or plant it by hand to get it to grow. Any thoughts?

edit to add: It also has some oak trees nearby so there will only be approximately 4-5 hours of sunlight.

Sorry I forgot to add "during the summer". I am planning on using No-Plow in the fall but I'd like to start the deer coming during the summer.

There is not one thing other then I white clover that will even remotely flourish in a spot that small and that little amount of sun.
Only option I can see.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

I take you’re in farm country if so we feel creating thick cover areas are much better than food plots , this whole state is a food plot

I have smaller trails I plant to get the deer to move through those areas. I plant winter rye winter wheat, cow peas, daikon radish and purple top turnip. All the plots are planted and starting to come up. This year I will add pumpkins, watermelon and sunflowers along the edge in mid May I plant everything at once as early as possible to get established before the trees leaf out. Mid summer over seed areas that are thinned out. It has worked great so far
My goal is to get them used to the narrow plot I have fencing on both side of the trails to keep the deer out and let the trees grow. Does with fawns lay up against the fence and eat though out the day. Mid summer bucks will come in and eat. My trails led from a swamp to a hay field. That is why l don’t plant clover
